Good Faith Estimate Notice
Effective Date: April 1, 2026
Under the No Surprises Act, healthcare providers are required to provide uninsured or self-pay patients with a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges for medical services upon request or before scheduled services, as required by federal law.
What Is a Good Faith Estimate?
A Good Faith Estimate outlines the anticipated costs of healthcare services that you may receive from Lotus Heart Healing LLC. It is designed to help you understand and prepare for the expected cost of your care before treatment begins.
Who Is Eligible?
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate if you are uninsured or choose not to use your health insurance for scheduled healthcare services.
Your Rights
As an uninsured or self-pay patient, you have the right to:
- Receive a written Good Faith Estimate before your scheduled services.
- Request an estimate of expected charges at any time before receiving care.
- Ask questions about the estimated costs of your treatment.
- Keep a copy of your Good Faith Estimate for your records.
If Your Bill Is Higher Than Your Estimate
If you receive a bill that is substantially higher than your Good Faith Estimate, you may have the right to dispute the charges through the patient-provider dispute resolution process established by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
Request a Good Faith Estimate
If you are uninsured or paying for services yourself, we encourage you to request a Good Faith Estimate before your appointment. Our team is happy to answer your questions and provide an estimate of expected charges based on your anticipated care.
